MethigionCC September 10, 2018 Reply The last evening 20.20 was a trip Laddock, where a 16 overs, change ends every 8 overs meant we could successfully cheat the fading light. Methigion batted first and with Van Lingen (30*) opening the batting the scoring rate was brisk. I must in future remember to compare him to Gary Kirsten, worked a treat. We’ll omit to mention Grippers duck before describing the in form Tileys sublime 42*, his timing as impeccable as ever. A brisk 18 from Sarath saw Methigion end there innings on 129 for 3,good enough one would have thought. Methigion tight bowling meant Laddock were always behind the scoring rate, and ended on 103 for 7, the wickets shared around. A brief mention in dispatches for the skipper who decided to keep wicket and managed to drop a simple skyer, back to mid on I’m afraid.
