Austin ( 33*) continued his fine form , Farrar (13), and Adams ( 31*) continued the brisk scoring. The only blot was Bebb who made a slow 6 before playing on to his his stumps to a bowler who was appeared to be rather young. The skipper was having pitch side discussion, suggesting that Edwards place in the side was in doubt due to poor form and pondering whether a year out might do him good. The rest of the Methigion bowlers chipped in with good economy rates , except poor Rich Thorley who was brought on with the short boundary on the leg side and was hit for 30 runs in an over! Boconnoc ended on 98 for 7 with the crowd lining up to charge onto the pitch, the crowd being the resident fallow deer. So it was round to the bar and the very pleasant BBQ
